Welcome! I am Dr. Sarah Miller, PT, DPT, OCS. I am Doctor of Physical Therapy and owner of Pyramid Performance LLC, a private practice on Main Street in Aspen, CO. I began my career in Aspen back in 2016, treating a variety of patients with orthopedic ailments. I enjoy treating athletes at the highest level of their sport as well as weekend warriors, retirees, and children.
I am a Residency trained Orthopedic Physical Therapist and currently engaged in a Fellowship of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (FOMPT) at Regis University. I have dedicated additional years of higher-education learning through Regis University, in addition to my Doctorate of Physical Therapy, in order to continue to integrate the best current research and methods into my practice and better help my patients. I sat for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Examination in March of 2021 and now Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). In addition to Fellowship and Resident level training, I have completed a year-long Concussion Management Certification, completed a Kinesiology Taping Practitioner Certification, and completed multiple dry needling courses. Needless to say, I am tirelessly learning and following the most up to date, efficient skills and techniques to better help my patients.
I am a member of the United States Ski and Snowboard Medical Pool. I have traveled to Europe with the Men's B/C/D Alpine Team to triage injury and encourage maximum performance with targeted treatments during training camps, as well as covered XGames 2020 and 2022. I also attended the Medical Emergencies in Skiing and Snowboarding (MESS) conference in December of 2019 and am looking forward to becoming more involved with this incredible group.
I attended Clemson University for my undergraduate degree and received my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2016. When I am not helping patients with their physical therapy rehabilitation, I enjoy skiing, hiking, mountain biking, playing outdoors, and exploring the town. My husband Chris, and my favorite furry companion, Fannie, are often by my side! You may catch Fannie lounging in the office during the work day. I also love watching the Clemson Tigers play in the fall!
